The mission of the athletic program is to foster a community where students and faculty can engage in physical activity, pursue their athletic passions, and strive for excellence in both academics and athletics within an inclusive and positive environment.
Armbrae Academy envisions its athletic program as the premier institution in Atlantic Canada for nurturing and developing student athletes.
Conferences
Armbrae Academy is a part of three major conferences. These include Canadian Association of Independent Schools (CAIS), School Sport Nova Scotia (SSNS), and Maritime Independent League (MIL).
CAIS
Canadian Accredited Independent Schools
Armbrae Academy is a proud member of CAIS. Armbrae has a long tradition of hosting and participating in CAIS national tournaments. Armbrae will be participating in four different CAIS tournaments during the 26/27 season.
SSNS
School Sport Nova Scotia
Armbrae Academy will be participating at the highest level inter-school sport in Nova Scotia. Armbrae is a proud member of SSNS and will be competing in a number of sports in Division 1, 2 and 3. Armbrae is also involved in inter-scholastic sport for junior high with the HRCE.
MIL
Maritime Independent League
Armbrae Academy is a founding member of the Maritime Independent League. The league comprises a number of independent schools with a focus on creating an inclusive environment for all students to compete.
