Armbrae Academy was founded in 1887 and is a co-educational PreSchool to grade 12 University preparatory school with 275 students. Armbrae offers a structured but informal atmosphere that provides students an opportunity to form close relationships with peers and teachers. Armbrae is a member in good standing of the Canadian Accredited Independent Schools (CAIS) and is accredited by the Ministry of Education and Early Childhood Development for Nova Scotia to grant the Nova Scotia high school leaving certificate.

• Art Teacher (Grades 7-12)
• Chemistry and General Science Teacher (Grades 7-12)
• Lower School Teachers (Grades 2-4)

Armbrae is always looking for excellent supply teachers at all grade levels (Primary to Grade 12). High performing members of our supply teaching team are often invited to apply for permanent teaching positions when they become available. For the 2023-24 school year, the daily supply teacher pay rate is $190.
